Ok, I'm coming to terms with the fact that kids aren't in the cards right now. Maybe later, time will tell. So, it's time for a new obsession.
Time to take all that energy I've been putting to trying to get pregnant and put it back into trying to lose weight! That fell by the wayside long ago...I managed to lose about 16 pounds in 2006, kept off about 14 of them, so that was a good start. Time to pick it back up and push ahead!
I use www.sparkpeople.com as my main weight loss resource. I'm also on a diet forum, though I don't post there as much as I should. Sparkpeople is a great FREE resource, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight or just monitor how they're doing. It has a calorie counter, fitness tracker, exercise plans, recipes, and just a ton of great information!
I'm going to start with just losing 25 pounds. I have much more to lose than that, about 60 pounds in all, but it's a good start, anyway.
Time to break out the cookbooks and favorite recipes, and stock up on yummy fresh produce - here I go!
