That's funny! In the days when I worked in IT and our link would go down (it happened with curious frequency), I'd walk over to the network team and tell them, "Uh, the Internet is, like, broken or something." They'd throw stuff at me and mutter obscenities about WorldCom (this was before they had become their own Internet scam.)
Of course my favorite "outage outrage" was something I think you probably heard about or experienced back in the day. When KBPS would lose power, people would call in and berate the staff for not making an announcement on the air about the station being off the air.
Now if you will excuse me, I'm busy printing out every frame of the 3rd season of Lost onto paper so I can watch it flip-book style when the power goes out next time.
Hi! I'm Karen. Thanks for joining me here in my little corner of the blogosphere. This is my blog about everything - food, crafts, day to day living...but mostly food, because cooking is one of the things I like to do best. When I have the time to do it right, that is. Of course, I hate cleaning up afterward (which explains the state of my kitchen counters in some of the pictures you'll see here)! I hope you enjoy reading, and come back (and comment) often - I truly have no idea if people are actually reading this, and I'd love to get to know you!

Made me giggle...well worth the twenty minutes it took me to load with dial up!
