So hubby has agreed to go away somewhere with me for a weekend sometime this summer. Now I have to figure out where we should go, where we should stay, and what we should do.
Anyone have any great ideas?
A few tidbits of info:
1. We'll be driving, so I'm looking for locations no more than three hours away.
2. With or without dogs.
3. Camping, yurts, hostels, motels, we're open.
4. We don't have a whole lot of money.
5. We like outdoorsy stuff. Hubby doesn't like anything artsy.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Websites?

Always the beach if you can find a place to camp... otherwise can be spendy. We used to go to Neahkanie which is out in the desert on Indian reservation land - pretty rustic with a lake. Otherwise not so sure...
