In the days when I worked in IT and ...That's funny! In the days when I worked in IT and our link would go down (it happened with curious frequency), I'd walk over to the network team and tell them, "Uh, the Internet is, like, broken or something." They'd throw stuff at me and mutter obscenities about WorldCom (this was before they had become their own Internet scam.)<BR/><BR/>Of course my favorite "outage outrage" was something I think you probably heard about or experienced back in the day. When KBPS would lose power, people would call in and berate the staff for not making an announcement on the air about the station being off the air.<BR/><BR/>Now if you will excuse me, I'm busy printing out every frame of the 3rd season of Lost onto paper so I can watch it flip-book style when the power goes out next time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
